The Indian diaspora in Chile came together in grand style as the Indian Association of Santiago, under the leadership of President Mr. Kishan Dadlani and the dedicated committee members, successfully organized a spectacular Garba & Dandiya Night 2025 on 27th September 2025. The event was hosted in the prestigious premises of the Embassy of India in Santiago.
The evening was graced by the honorable presence of Her Excellency, Ambassador Mrs. Abhilasha Joshi, whose encouragement and warm words added immense pride to the celebration.
The festivities commenced with the traditional worship of Maa Durga, followed by a soul-stirring aarti, filling the atmosphere with devotion and positive energy. As the beats of garba resonated through the venue, participants from both Indian and Chilean communities joined in with immense enthusiasm.
Dressed in vibrant traditional Indian attire, attendees lit up the venue with their smiles, twirls and synchronized dance steps. The joy on the floor was unmatched as people of all ages danced to rhythmic dhol beats and classic garba tunes.
